Fathers Day Weekend-Spring

These were taken a few weeks back now....The lighthouse is Warden Head, Ulladulla, NSW
We walked from the light house down to the beach and then went on a nature walk a little further around. It was too cold to swim, but a beautiful spot we always appreciate.

Autumn Day Trip

These photos are from March, I'm still playing catch up, and feeling a little nostalgic for warmer days. We took a little trip to Lanyon Homestead, which really is just down the road from us. There is a lot of history here, lots of buildings, schools house, barns, stables I could keep going.....
There are some beautiful big trees (by Canberra standards) the garden is amazing, and you can't beat a historic homestead that makes coffee and pancakes right?

The cafe

My partner in crime, assistant photographer, avid collector of anythings...

nice view

It is interesting how a visit somewhere can inspire and get the creative juices flowing, this day we collected some of the acorns from the ground and played around at home in the afternoon.
I love working with my little girl.

Exhibition work

Some photos (some details) of my exhibition work from October? 2014. Seems so long ago now....
I needed some recovery time afterwards, and it seems I have been trying to catch up on work work ever since. I have been doing lots of things, but every time I sit at the computer work has to get done....

copper plate

Drawing and experimenting, re-learning how to do all the etching/print techniques.
Sometimes I think the plate is more lovely than the image you print from it......

exhibition!

Well, here it is....my long awaited exhibition is just around the corner......
Please if you are near by, drop in to see it and say hello!

Beach love

We went for a really nice walk, considering its still winter. As we got to the other end in the shade though, our toes froze in the cold sand.
Love this beach.....obviously it has much more meaning to us as A and I were married here almost 10 years ago now.
See the bunch of trees up the other end there, that spot is where we had the ceremony and where the photos above (with the cliff) were taken. The grassy track is where I walked down through with my dad to the ceremony near the rocks. Our celebrant had created a large ring of flowers for us to stand in.
